Play therapy is focused on children between 3 and 12 years old. Children express their unconscious thoughts, conflicts, and emotions more naturally through play. Play therapy differs from regular play in the sense that our therapist help the child address and resolve their own problems in a safe and supportive environment using both directive and non-directive play therapy techniques. The playroom contains a variety of toys and activities that replicate play opportunities that are realistic, aggressive, or creative. Through play therapy, your child will learn to communicate with others, express feelings, modify behavior, develop problem-solving skills, and learn a variety of ways to relate to others.
